About OURC

Details of all Club events (training, matches, and socials) are published in the club calendar section and appear on the homepage. For general information about club activities, follow the links below.

  • During Michaelmas and Hilary terms, the club’s main activity is smallbore shooting. This is shooting with .22 rifles at targets 25 yards away. It is usually shot lying down (prone), but we also shoot kneeling and standing. (more about smallbore shooting)
  • During Trinity term the Club shoots fullbore. OURC shoots two disciplines: Target Rifle (TR) and Match Rifle (MR). (more about fullbore shooting)
  • The Club has regular socials, they include punting, curry, cocktail parties, black tie dinners and lots more. (more about socials)
